Trump & the MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ ā Matthew Fox (Theologian and Priest) part 1/2
At first glance, an impressive fresco in San Brizioās Chapel in the Orvieto Cathedral appears to show Christ addressing a crowd ā but after closer inspection, one realizes that the main figure is, in fact, the Antichrist, with a demon speaking into his left ear. Luca Signorelliās painting, TheĀ Preaching and Punishment of the Antichrist, inspired artist Michelangelo and psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud to produce some of their greatest works. It also inspired American theologian and priest Matthew Fox to write his new bookĀ Trump & The MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ: A Handbook for the 2024 Election. Giordano of Juice Media asks world-renowned intellectual, activist, and political dissident Noam Chomsky about the unfolding train wreck of the 2020 US election, the state of humanity, the breakdown of democracy, the rise of conspiracy theories, the prosecution of Julian Assange, the role of satire – and what helps to keep him going amidst all this.
Feigning Mad Ave. hucksterism satirically to illustrate political perfidy. Rings with the lies and misrepresentation of the right wing. Thanks.
I would share this effective satire on Facebook if the obscenities and profanities were not present. Do you really feel that they are necessary? I think they mar the presentation.
They have a G rated version as well….
Ahhh, but itās disappointing that Juiceās biting sarcasm is only directed at the Trump administration here. Members of Congress of both parties are complicit! None of them give a damn (and that applies to sheepdog Bernie, too!) about the American people today. They want us dead if we arenāt generating sufficient profits for them. When are We the People going to wake up and understand this? We truly do deserve the government we get.
Brilliant……….show more of these!
