Honest Government Ad | the Safeguard Mechanism
The Australien Government has made an ad about the Safeguard Mechanism – Labor’s key climate policy to reach its 2030 emissions target – and it’s surprisingly honest and informative. This video was originally published by The Juice Media on February 15, 2023.
Their video on Australia’s government sponsored terrorism in Celste Timor is very good. Their website has not only the video, but what viewers can do next if they are moved by the content to do some good. That’s really important.

“Australian”, spelled “Australien” in French, I believe, is a noun meaning a man from Australia. In lower case, “australien” or “australienne” is an adjective, as in la politique australienne. I shall guess that the person doing the sub-titles is a Canadian from Québec, a québécois, accustomed to using the French spellings, “Australien” and “australien”.
Juice spells it that way as a joke.
